A Few Important Points
To get more than one line on a banner, type " \n " between the lines. For example, Line 1\nLine 2 will give you: Line 1 Line 2
Graphics made with Cooltext are in temporary storage for less than an hour, so you must transload them to a homepage account.
You cannot make transparent backgrounds.
If you want to change background colors using color codes, they must be entered in decimal format.

Make A Banner
Banners at Cooltext are called Logos.
There are 52 fonts to choose from and 6 backgrounds or "textures".
To make a banner, click the "Logos" button.

Choose A Logo Style
On the left side of the page you can request
to have Cooltext update info e-mailed to you.
On the right side of the page are thumbnails of the 14 styles, each with the name of that style. They are arranged in three columns on the right side of the page.

On the right side of the page are the logo style thumbnails.
On the left side of the page there is a sample banner that is made using the default settings for that style.
Below the sample banner is the "Text String" box. Type in your text.
Under the text string box is the word "font". It will take you to the
font list. If you click on the name of a font, you will see how it produces the alphabet.
Next is a font pulldowm menu. You may choose a font or use the default for that style.
Now that you've chosen a font, you can change the font size. The default is "70".
If all you do is enter your text, you will always get a nice banner.
Below the text area are other variables you can choose depending on the style. Most styles will allow you to change the color of the text or the background.
